First topic message reminder :

The Northern Trails ♠

- ADVENTURIST LIFE
- AVAILABILITY
When Event starts

INTRODUCTION

Settled into the Alaskan civilization rests a tiny zoo, homing on the most iconic animals in it's confines. Very little funds are provided, so there are only a few exhibits, but what little they have is very well kept. The animals live an easy life as far as a tame existence goes, they only get the best. There are mostly tourists that frequent the zoo, along with it's small staff team. Getting in and out of Northern Trails is easy, no long lines nor time needless advertising there to distract you from the exhibits.

11) Brook padded across the soft ground, watching the other wolves with a sigh. Her eyes wandered towards the large, brown wolf named Strong. It was his birthday recently. Feeling somewhat lonely, Brook laid herself down, flicking her feathery beige tail over her nose.

11) Quickin a little rat scurried across the grass following the alpha female. "So I hear it's Strongs Birthday am I right?" he said hoping to find some good to do to do like a stunt. H sniffed the air and saw a big rock. He quickly went over to it and got on top and jump from it. He landed on his feet. 'Not good enough.' he thought. So he went over to a high big tree and leaped from it. He did a dive in the air and landed on the alpha females nuzzle.

11) Brook spotted Quickin and was pleased that her little friend was here to entertain her. "Quickin!" she exclaimed, delighted to see the rat. "Oh yes, it is Strong's birthday." Quickin did little stunts that amused her and finally, the rat landed on her muzzle. Looking at him made her eyes cross and she laughed. "You're quite the acrobat, aren't you, Quickin?"

11) Brook giggled at Quickin. "You're so silly," she laughed, amused and delighted by the rat's acts. The beige she-wolf used to paw to brush off some of the dirt from Quickin's coat but found that she just made it worse because her paw was dirty. The female chuckled mischievously.

(Please, everybody who is not wearing the avatar of the character in the Zoo must show in the begining of their messages an image of the character! thanks)

11- Strong shook his head side to side before to pay attention to Karis to take off the squirrel from his head. Once Karis finished speaking, he took the delicacy of trying to encourage she "I'm sure your parents will resisted successfully to an enemy attack, especially if they look like you" he smiled "And your story is sad but I enjoyed listen it, I hope that Lacien has been welcome in my pack if she found it so she can enjoy the safe".

Zo-Zo stood there silent, thoughtful, until he returned to attend the escape plan and then Strong looked at Karis "Maybe together we can get back to Denali" he said, pointing with his eyes to the two rodents "we have some good partners willing to escape" laughed.

"Hello Moon" got up and rubbed his body with hers to greet "We talked about the past.. I guess.."

"Well" Munik cawed upon hearing the plans of escape the brown male was talking about. Blinking, he fluttered onto the ground before resuming speaking. "Ya'll can grow wings and fly- Oh wait." The male covered his beak with a wing, hiding his amused smile. "My apologies." He mumbled past the feathers, before looking at each of the wolves who were now towering above and around him.

11- Strong nodded at the female Karis. Munik was flying toward them 'Hmm what it'll want?' he thought at the same time that his nose was smelling the aroma which released from the soil on the beating of the wings of the black bird who was landing, once on the solid ground the crow spoke and it was not in order to say anything that could be helpful "Hey, if you are not going to contribute with an important data for the plan.. we would appreciate to keep yourself silent and quiet" Strong replied, since he hated the joking about serious things.

Northern Trails - The Zoo - Page 3 259-8

11 --

Munik removed his wing from his beak, glaring up at the brown wolf with his beady eyes, and eyebrows pointed downward in obvious contempt at being told what to do. "Oh yeah..." He grumbled, flapping a wing in what could be considered a fist shake. "Because it's not like I, the one with the wings and no place in this zoo...." He continued on, obviously flaunting the fact he could fly and do whatever he pleased in the zoo, for he was a wild animal and far from tame. "Can't help you escape by, oh I don't know, grabbing a pair of keys or something." The male shrugged and assumed a smug grin, before beating his wings and flying just above the brown wolf, out of his jaws reach should he decide a bird would make a good meal. "That's cool. You guys keep going with your plan though. I'm very interested in seeing how it works out."

11- "Keys?" the wolf never had listened this word before so he repeated that word just one second after that the bird had said the word, and after have said that, he kept the listen of the following sentences of the Crow.

"Munik, I did not wanted to sound bossy, I only expressed my personal feeling respect what you have said" he caught a fly to the air "So.. sorry" then he thought 'Crows are a proud animals..difficult to handle' Karis wanted to offer a help and said to Strong a way to escape but Strong was not sure about it "I do not think that to jump the fence is going to be so easy as you said.. in addition it could be dangerous for some of us" he looked at the pregnant female "..and well I do not want to anyone be wounded.."

11) Anila nodded in agreement to Strong's word. She was already starting to show signs that she would go into labor any day. "It's hard for me to jump at all. I don't want to fall and land on my stomach, crushing my unborn pups," she whimpered. "Finding the key is a much better idea," she said with a smile. Anila then licked her stomach softly. She couldn't wait to have her pups.

Munik puffed out his chest upon hearing the wolves apology, but quickly corrected his position and nodded. "'Tis alright, laddy." He nodded before ruffling his feathers slightly, listening to the three wolves exchange words. They seemed to be intent on the finding of the keys, and it filled the raven with pride to hear they liked his suggestion. "FANTASTIC!" He cawed, tapping his feet on the branch he had since perched on. "I will find them for you tonight. Yes, yes I will."

Coconut twitched his nose at Munik's comment. "They're locked inside a storage room after the zoo closes. I can squeeze under the door and get them. You can fly them back to the wolf enclosure since I'm not that fast," the black squirrel said.

He went in closer "Guys theirs one problem the guard carries the keys around on his belt. even if you did get them their are lots of keys." he said since he knew .

11- "So we must continue with the plan.. of the.." he paused, trying to remember the name and pronunciation of it "..keys" he concluded and had said after hear the words of Anila "Maybe we should inform of this plan to the Alphas of this enclosure" then the crow had shown again interest in the plan and Strong smiled, grateful for the disinterested interest in the plan and thought 'crows are usually loyal to their principles and colleagues'

The smallest squirrel was now in the enclosure too, Coconut had its own contribution but the rat Quickin quickly denied the statement about the location of the keys and then the plan began to be more complicated 'If the guard takes them with him.. will be almost impossible' he thought, now that he was over and deducted that the word -keys- must be something that would allow them to break free from the gates. Then Karis contributed with a key information, she understood human signs so.. then would only require to teach them, to whoever wants of the small animals who were helping them, to memorize the signs.

Northern Trails - The Zoo - Page 3 259-8

11 --
At the rat's statement that the guard kept the keys on him, Munik rolled his eyes and raised a wing. "Hello? Large black bird here. It won't be hard to snatch them up... we just need to distract said guard long enough to grab the keys and unlock the pen..." At this he shrugged and even smiled slightly, as if proud of himself for coming up with the crazy plan these wolves began to conjure up for escaping. He had no idea that, if this worked, he would join the wolves, but he could tell the brown one missed someone far beyond the reaches of the zoo, and that was enough drive for the raven to help in any way he could.

11) "I could distract the guard." The male chimed in. He wanted to get out, and he knew if he helped the group he could escape, and maybe join Strong's pack that he heard of. 'What about Thunderbolt?' He thought to himself. It had been a while since he saw his partner in crime, a male wolfdog hybrid, who went everywhere with him. 'Where was he?'

Northern Trails - The Zoo - Page 3 Zo_Zo

11) He turned to the crow who had seemed to be taking interest on their topic. Munlik could fly and therefore could help retrieve the keys. Maddox had suggested a great idea. "Yeah! A few of us can distract the guard while one of us smaller animals snatches the keys from his belt!" He flicked his tail in excitement; he could see their plan coming together. He began to wonder what it was like beyond the gates the zoo. Would he like it? Or not?

11- "How you will distract him? Maddox?" Strong had not entirely clear this and had curiosity about with how was going to turn out. He approached to the wall of the enclosure and put his nose between its bars, then he stared between the separation of the holes as if through a peephole he was watching and then said "If so, will be better to wait until darkness of the night comes, when the Zoo is closed to the public"

(Thank you Strong you're so awesome! <333 lol)

"Hmmm..... I could act like i'm really ill and get their attention bu being annoying, or...... Hmmm.... Yea, I could be by the door playing dead so they open the gate and I grab their belt, and maybe a squirrel or rat can take the keys, and whoever can sneak out in time can hide and maybe help with the escape or wait for the others, I'm not sure, would it work?" The male questioned his plan. Maybe he wasn't as good of planning as he thought, It was usually Thunderbolt who plotted these things, not him, he was always a decoy in the team. If only he was here, it would be easier.
